I was born in 1954 and in 2001 I started drawing with pastels.  In October 2001 the first paintings were created. As a child I never liked drawing.

I prefer the silence of the night making my paintings and use the colors and brushes as a medium to release myself from time and space. When starting a new painting I never know before what to create and during a process of painting and movements, I come in a state of mind that I don't feel any awareness being there and doing that.  Next day I am always very surprised that I made that painting as if I didn't do that myself. Often I recognize in my paintings a dark side and also a bright side, a tension, a mistery or personal messages to myself.
